Frederick County Government provides employees several remote connection methods depending on the applications you wish to access and the type or location of the computer from which you are connecting.

Please choose from the three options below based on the applications you currently wish to access. You will then be taken to an instructions page with options based on your location.


Outlook Web Access (Webmail)

  • Outlook only (Email, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks)

Remote Desktop Standard Applications

  • Default applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Timesheet, PeopleSoft, etc.)
  • To reach the instructions, click below. You usually need to type NT1\ before your user name.

Remote Desktop Specialized Applications

  • Special applications intended only for Public Safety and other specific personnel
    • Intergraph Public Safety, Easy Street Draw, Firehouse, etc.
